Connoisseurs, collectors and enthusiasts

The Bergen School Circle consists of private collectors, connoisseurs and enthusiasts, each with a special interest in the Bergen School. The museum facilitates evenings of exclusive knowledge where they meet like-minded people. Honorary member Renée Smithuis, Bergen School expert, plays an active role in the Circle. Thanks in part to the annual contribution, we can continue to expand and manage the Bergen School collection.

Circle members enjoy:

  • Unlimited access to the museum
    The personal relationship pass provides free admission for two people. Also, you are exempt from surcharges.
  • Exclusive previews and drinks
    Circle members are invited to exclusive meetings at the museum at least twice a year. This can be a preview of an exhibition, a look at our collection depot, a visit to a restoration studio or a lecture. We conclude each meeting at the museum with drinks.
  • Personalized invitations
    for each opening of temporary exhibition 
  • Discounts on publications and gifts
    discount offers in the museum store
  • Newsletters
    A periodic newsletter containing news surrounding the Bergen School and exclusive meetings
  • Welcome gift 
    Membership for the Bergen School Circle is €150 per year (for two people).
