The famous Renaissance artist Jan van Scorel, in his last phase of life, worked on a surprising project: the embankment of the Zijpe. His design marks an important turning point in the history of North Holland and the struggle against water. The exhibition will also have a contemporary addition with work by Pé Okx and a digital component.
