Theatrical do-round tour
What do you do when a painting has just vanished? In this theatrical tour, students not only become museum visitors, but also real detectives. As soon as they step into the museum, they find themselves right in the middle of an exciting mystery: a painting has disappeared and the students are going to help find it back.
Help! The canvas is missing! is a theatrical guided tour for kindergarten through 2nd grade in which the class, together with actors, discovers the museum collection through theatrical action and viewing assignments. Together they search for clues, discover special works of art, and look at the museum collection in a playful way.

The preparatory lesson really got the group in the mood: who took the canvas out of its frame? By listening closely to the description, wonderful compositional drawings were created.
The visit to the museum was quite an experience! We were immediately drawn into the story by the actors who took us along in the mystery of the missing canvas. The children searched along and figured out where it could be.
The ladies brought the works of art to the children's attention by telling something ‘magical’ about each one, which also made differences in painting styles clear. It was a fantastic experience!
