Organization and team
Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar consists of a management board and the departments of Public, Program & Collection, Finance & Operations and Facilities & Security . The employees who work in the museum café, the museum store and/or as hosts/hostesses do so on a voluntary basis and complete the organization. The museum has 33 permanent employees and approximately 60 volunteers. Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar is an independent foundation with a Supervisory Board.
