Join the free guided tour of the exhibition: From water to land – Jan van Scorel and Pé Okx. The tour guide will take you around, point out the objects and answer your questions.

What influence do humans have on the surrounding landscape? Can you change it, and if so, how? These are questions that undoubtedly crossed the mind of the sixteenth-century Renaissance artist Jan van Scorel (1495–1562). In the exhibition From water to land discover the influence of humans on the landscape. In the past, today, and in the future. 

Practical
Every Sunday, a free guided tour starts at 14:00 and 15:00 at the Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar and lasts approximately 45 minutes. The tour starts in the foyer and is given by one of our tour guides. Would you prefer a guided tour by our curator Tristan Schiff? Book one conservator's tour.

Reservations are not possible; there is space for a maximum of 15 people. Participation is free with a valid admission ticket.

Children and youth under 18 always have free admission to the museum.
