The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and closed on the following days:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children and youth up to age 18, Friends of the Museum, Museum Card, ICOM, Friends Lottery VIP Card and Rembrandt Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar would like everyone to feel at home here. We would also like our colleagues, building and exhibitions to be treated nicely. Therefore, there are general visitor conditions<\/u><\/a> drawn up, so everyone knows what is allowed and possible in the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bags larger than an A4 size may not enter the museum. We ask that these be stored in one of our lockers in the museum. Please note that there is a limited number of lockers, so we recommend leaving large bags at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consider this for a moment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Taking photographs, video and film recordings using lights, flash equipment and\/or tripods (including selfie sticks) is not permitted without prior written permission from Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
