The exhibition offers insight into the development of his penetrating oeuvre and its scope. From his conceptual work of his alter-egos Rudi and Jochum, to more mystical work in which he portrays the \"infinity\" of his light and the cosmic. <\/strong>Rudi van de Wint is perhaps one of the best-known artists in the Netherlands. Through television and many other media, his immense paintings in the Lower House can be seen almost daily in every living room in the Netherlands. His many sculptures in the Dutch landscape are also a familiar sight to many. Recently his 'Tongue of Lucifer' in the Flevopolder sparked a discussion in the national newspapers. As visible as Van de Wint's work is, so little does the general public know about the artist behind these works. That may have everything to do with the moment he withdrew from the spotlight to focus on his magnum opus: the landscape art work 'De Nollen' in Den Helder. In the\u00a0Grote Kerk Alkmaar<\/a>\u00a0two large Keim works in the north side aisle by Rudi van de Wint will be on display during the exhibition at the museum. The sculpture park\u00a0A Sea of Steel<\/a>\u00a0in Wijk aan Zee has several activities surrounding Rudi van de Wint this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Rudi van de Wint's work is included in prominent art collections, such as the Kr\u00f6ller-M\u00fcller Museum in Otterlo and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Although there have been several major solo presentations, at home and abroad, there has not previously been a museum retrospective of his oeuvre. In 2022 it will be sixteen years since Van de Wint's sudden death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
