Join the free walk-in tour of the exhibition Longing for Egmond. The tour guide will take you around, interpret the objects and answer your questions.

See the works of Holland's most famous artists with your own eyes. A free guided tour starts every Sunday at 2 p.m. at Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. 

From inspiration to artists' village
Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar pays tribute to Egmond - a village that inspired artists for centuries. For the first time, seventeenth- and nineteenth-century masterpieces are brought together in the region where they were created. The exhibition shows how this special place managed to enchant generations of artists - from the Dutch masters to the American painters who made Egmond internationally famous. Learn more.

Practical
The tour starts at 2 p.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. The tour starts in the foyer. Reservations are not possible; there is room for a maximum of 15 people. Participation is free with a valid admission ticket.
Children and youth under 18 always have free admission to the museum.
