For young people: Sip&Collage workshop 

Inspired by the theme ‘Children’ - one of the five themes in the exhibition Alkmaar in Beeld - De Jonge Lichting is organizing a Sip&Collage workshop. 
A creative evening, where participants make a personal collage and return to their ‘Inner Child’ for a moment. This workshop focuses on the following question: “What makes Alkmaar Alkmaar?”

Everyone can give free rein to their creativity and we encourage young people to really share their vision. This may be very personal, this may be criticism of Alkmaar or simply a beautiful picture.

The collages created can be given a place on the ‘What Alkmaar Alkmaar Makes’ wall in the exhibition. A wall that invites visitors to share their own view: in image, memory or story. 

This workshop is organized by De Jonge Lichting, the youth department of Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. 

Practical information

• The workshop is on Thursday, January 22, 2026 between 7:00-21:30 p.m. 
• This workshop is designed for young people (± 16-26 years old) 
• Participation in the workshop is free, a snack/drink and all materials are included
