Family workshop during the Christmas vacations: Together in Pictures  

Alkmaar was captured in countless ways in 1954. But how did the photographers from the exhibition look Alkmaar in Pictures to the city - and how do we look at the same Alkmaar 70 years later?

In this family workshop Image seekers you become part of the Image gang: a group of curious onlookers discovering the city by mirroring photos from 1954 with the Alkmaar of today.

Armed with a polaroid camera and various image crackers you will go on a tour with a museum docent. Each image cracker will make you look at things in a new way. This way, step by step, a personal visual story of Alkmaar today emerges.

And the best part ... the polaroids get to take home! That way you can have your own mini exhibition at home. Alkmaar in Pictures make.

Practical information

• The workshop is available daily during the Christmas vacations.
• The workshop itself is € 10.00 per party. In addition, you pay only a entrance ticket for participating adults (children always have free admission). Please note, in your confirmation email you will receive a payment link. You must pay this before participating in the workshop.
• Max. 4 companies per time slot & max. 6 people per company
