Retrieved from Thursday, July 17 you can participate in the exclusive Gallery Talk at the exhibition ''Longing for Egmond. From inspiration to artists' village'. Egmond attracted countless artists in the seventeenth century because of its unique landscapes and historic ruins. The picturesque setting, with its vast dunes, quiet beaches and distinctive buildings, provided a rich source of inspiration for artists seeking both natural beauty, and a touch of history.
The first room will display the works of painters such as Jacob van Ruisdael, Jan van Goyen, Gerrit Aedriaansz Berckheyde and Claes van der Heck. Curator and curator of the exhibition, Tristan Schiff, will take you around the room, highlighting the 17th-century section of the exhibition.
The Gallery Talk starts at 10:30 a.m. The museum will open its doors at 10:15 a.m. There is room for 25 people. The museum provides seating in the auditorium. Register by filling out the form below. This activity is free to all patrons of the museum.
